Casa da Oliveira

The Casa da Oliveira (The Olive Tree House) is the largest of the cottages. From the red tiled floor, to the blue-rimmed windows and the wooden beams of the ceiling, the house respects tradition and heritage but also has modern and practical comfort. The house accommodates up to five people and is welcoming in both the hottest and coldest periods of the year.

The spacious living room has a plasma TV and a fireplace for cold nights. The living room is large and open and leads into a well-apportioned dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with the necessary utensils for the preparation of meals, in addition to microwave, electric kettle, electric coffee maker, stove and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

The house also has a good Wi-Fi connection.

The outdoor terrace is exceptionally large and includes a small dining table for breakfast in the sun, an outdoor grill for barbecuing and a sitting area under a shaded pergola.

The Oliveira house has a large double bedroom with an in-suite bathroom, and another double bedroom with an adjoining large bathroom that includes a bathtub, cabinets and a washing machine.

An additional single bed is located in the mezzanine above the living room.

All the windows are equipped with mosquito screens. In the winter, in addition to the fireplace, all the rooms have Heatwafers, or low energy consumption heaters.

The Oliveira house has a wonderful view of the Capela do Monte and the beautiful countryside leading up to the chapel.

The wooden details, the red floor tiles and white-washed walls, the fireplace and the surrounding gardens make this a wonderful choice for couples or families.
